Black Mascara SkiesBroken and shattered Her tears began. The metal clattered And ran down her hand. She had held it inside For much too long. To love him, she tried. Her heart did her wrong. Troubled and beaten She sat there and cried. Like a mutt, she'd been treated As tears filled her eyes. He promised her flowers, Jewelry. Candy, too. But his love turned to power And the fun was through. She had bruises and scars Covering her face. He went to parties and bars And other some other girls' place.
